- Have a clear vision of what you want and where you are going. Like the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland said, “If you don’t know where you are going, does it even matter what way you go?” I encourage you to make a blue print for your life. Have faith and believe in your desired outcome. Let go of the how and when, just trust that God always has more in store for you than you could have dreamed of.
- Know who you are, know where you came from and what your gifts and talents are. Know that you have strengths and abilities within you that are just waiting to be woken up. Love yourself, remember that we teach others how to treat us by the way we treat ourselves.
- Serve others. We find our true purpose as we love and serve others.
- Be present. Leave the past in the past and let the future take care of itself. We find the most joy as we focus on the here and now and finding happiness in the little things each day. Focus on what is in front of you and live each day to the fullest. Worry and fear rob us of joy in the here and now and precious time with our loved ones.
